Oldies But Goldies

MOLFIX LAUNCH

It was a time when AI and visual worlds had not yet developed as much as they have today.
This commercial, which marked Molfix’s first launch in the Turkish market, achieved great success — thanks to its song, lyrics, and a visual world that felt very fresh for its time.

Even today, the jingle from this ad is remembered as one of the most well-known tunes in Turkish advertising history.

The campaign received both an Effie and a Crystal Apple award, and for me personally, it remains a memorable milestone — a project that still makes me smile with its full production journey and the lyrics I wrote back then.

Delikanlı kızlar Molped kullanır BOLD GRILS USE MOLPED

The 2007 campaign of a local hygienic pad brand. In the films we watch a group of girls 'torturing' boys in a funny way for making them understand how they feel during their period times. The campaing’s slogan became one of the most popular taglines in the country. The slogan “Delikanlı kızlar Molped kullanır” can be roughly translated as “Bold girls use Molped”, but there’s a deeper wordplay behind it in Turkish.

The word “delikanlı” is traditionally used to describe someone who is brave, honest, loyal, and has integrity — qualities often associated with masculinity, but in this context, it's reappropriated to empower young women. It suggests a bold, unapologetic attitude.

At the same time, “delikanlı” literally means “crazy-blooded” (deli = crazy, kanlı = bloody), which creates a clever and subtle double meaning related to menstruation — the very product category Molped belongs to.

TIVIBU IPTV LAUNCH

This was one of the first products and commercials to introduce smart TVs to our lives, at a time when IPTV was just starting to emerge.
Tivibu was one of the first IPTV services of that period, and this film was a launch commercial where we explained how IPTV would transform our TV-watching habits.

With its production and use of relatable examples, it remains — even today — one of the projects I personally still find charming.
