HAND IN HAND AGAINST

PRESSURE - VIOLENCE & HATE

A work in collaboration with KAOS GL association to create a powerful video campaign against violence, discrimination, and hate. The goal of this campaign was to raise awareness and promote unity, acceptance, and equality for all.

Because of the harsh policies imposed by the government on LGBT individuals, constantly changing laws, and various other reasons, the film could only be released 3 years later.

After the association released the film, it garnered record-breaking engagement in a very short period of time. It made headlines in mainstream newspapers and TV programs. Many famous individuals and journalists, such as Ferzan Özpetek, Ayşe Arman, and Mabel Matiz shared it.

Unfortunately, as expected, the conservative and traditionalist segments reacted with hostility and oppression towards the film's message of unity against hate, violence, and discrimination. Facing aggressive messages, legal complaints and even death threats resulting in the film being taken down.

The Work has done its job but unfortunately Just like in the film, the extended hand remained up in the air.
